This Privacy Policy explains how middl8 (“middl8,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit middl8.live, use the middl8 app, join our waitlist, or reserve a Founding Roadie membership.

Information We Collect

We collect:

• Name and email address — provided directly by you.
• Payment card information — if you reserve a Founding Roadie spot, your card details are collected and stored securely by Finix, our payment processor. middl8 never sees or stores your full card number.
• Usage and device data — when you visit our website or use our app, we automatically record your IP address, the approximate location it indicates (city, region, and country — never your precise location), your device type, operating system, and browser, the pages and features you use, the website that referred you, and when. If you are signed in, this is linked to your account. On the website we set a first-party cookie that lets us recognize a returning browser.

How We Use Your Information

• To add you to our waitlist and notify you when middl8 launches.
• To reserve your Founding Roadie membership and, at launch, to begin your subscription using the card you saved.
• To send you service-related and pre-launch updates.
• To operate, secure, and improve our website and app.
• To understand how people find and use middl8, and to detect fraud and abuse.

Payment and Billing

When you reserve a Founding Roadie spot, your card is saved on file but is not chargeduntil middl8 launches. Your first charge will be at launch — $6 for a monthly membership or $72 for an annual one, whichever you chose — and you may cancel at any time before then. All payment processing is handled by Finix under Finix's own terms and privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted service providers to operate middl8:

• Finix — payment processing and card storage.
• Microsoft Azure — hosting for our app, our database, and your account information.
• Resend — sending confirmation and update emails.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Google Analytics — aggregate website usage statistics.

Each provider processes your data only as needed to provide their service and under their own security and privacy commitments. Approximate location for app usage is looked up on our own servers using data from DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0; your IP address is not sent to them.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as you remain on our waitlist or hold a membership, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

IP addresses in our usage records are deleted after 90 days. After that we keep only the approximate city-level location and the device and usage details described above.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. To do so, contact us at privacy@middl8.com.

Children

middl8 is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
